Ingredients
 4
   500 gm   Mutton minced
   1½ tsp   Chilli powder
   ½ tsp   Turmeric powder
   2 tbsp   Ginger-garlic past
   1 tsp   Garam masala powder
     Salt to taste
   1 tbsp   Oil
   5 cloves   Crushed ½ inch stick cinnamon
   4   Green cardamom pods, crushed
   2   Green chillies finely chopped
   2 large   Large onion finely chopped
   2   Tomatoes, finely chopped
   1 cup   Fresh Green peas
   1/4 cup   Milk
   2 Tbsp   Lime juice
   ½ cup   Fresh Coriander finely chopped
   1/4 cup   Fresh mint finely chopped
   6   Pav (Small Loaves of bread)
  Add all Ingredients
How to Cook

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat with chilli powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala power and salt. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan; add crushed spices, cinnamon and green chillies. When the spices crackle, add onions and saute till golden.
  3. Add marinated mince and cook, stirring continuously on high heat for 5 minutes, Reduce heat and add tomatoes, peas and milk. Cover and cook till meat is tender.
  4. Mix in the lime juice, coriander and mint and adjust salt.
  5. Slit the pav and toast on a griddle (tawa). Serve the Kheema hot with toasted pav, onion rings and lime wedge.
